Woman thought she’d been stabbed as London bus driver ‘leaves seat to attack her’

A woman thought she’d been stabbed in an incident where a bus driver left his seat to allegedly assault her last Tuesday, October 3 because she had accidentally pressed the stop bell. Fozia, who asked not to give her last name or age, got onto the number 38 bus from Charing Cross Road towards Clapham just after 9pm.

She said she was carrying a large piece of cardboard, which was protecting a picture in a frame. Fozia stood in the buggy area of the bus on the bottom deck, and leaned the cardboard against the wall of the bus.
